Living and Dining Rooms
The Living Room and Dining Rooms, with their beamed ceilings, cottage beadboard, and rustic stone fireplace, were completely redecorated. The time constraints were too tight to wait for new custom upholstery, so the existing barrel chairs were reupholstered and restyled with tufting and skirts. The sofa was sourced locally, and given new life with new down cushions and upholstery. All of the furniture was upholstered in Perennials fabric, and the floors covered in seagrass: all to withstand beach sand, damp dogs, and a house full of children. Family photos were framed, and seashells and whimsical sea creatures hidden throughout to create the feeling of home.
