The Crabby Shack

Office

With two weeks to go a decision was made to turn one of the smaller bedrooms into an office for Mika.  The concept was both feminine and straightforward, with walls in Farrow and Balls Pink Ground, and a peacock blue color taken from an existing antique painted chair.  An office sign was created from antique interlocking brass stencils, and sentimental artwork was hung.  A painting by Mika's daughter, as well as a framed leaflet on her mother's sculpture, were hung above the chair.  Other personal details include lime green Know Your Value pencils in a jadeite tumbler, Postalco notepads, and mason jars full of anemones.
